| | Neobotix offers a free simulation environment for the creation of mobile manipulation applications. Mobile Arm Simulation 3D includes original platform and arm control as well as a 3D graphical user interface to configure and program mobile manipulators and worlds for interaction. It is possible to combine platforms, arms and tools to construct the mobile robot of your choice. With a VRML import filter new objects can be added to the virtual world. After setup it is possible to test all the critical parameters of a mobile manipulator application including arm workspace coverage, object gripping, on platform tray design, cycle times and much more. Programming for platform and arm using the Python interpreter interface is done in exactly the same way as for the real hardware. All motion sequences are calculated in realtime. Video tutorials support an easy start in using the simulation.
